Instructions: After installing the exhaust system components, check for internal stress in the system and for sufficient distance between the system components and the body. If necessary, unscrew the double clamp and align the exhaust pipe and muffler so that there is sufficient distance to the body and the fasteners are loaded evenly. Self-locking nuts must be replaced.
Catalyst and attachments
- 1 - Heat-protective casing
- 2 - 10 Nm
- 3 - Lambda probe after catalytic converter "G130", 50 Nm. Lubricate only the thread with grease "G 052 112 AZ"; "G 052 112 AZ" grease should not stick to the splines of the probe body. If there is a leak, bite and replace the sealing ring
- 4 - Gasket, replace
- 5 - Intake pipe
- 6 - Double clamp, 25 Nm. For independent replacement of the middle and rear mufflers, tighten the threaded connections evenly
- 7 - 25 Nm, replace
- 8 - Suspension
- 9 - 25 Nm
- 10 - Exhaust pipe with bellows. The bellows must not be bent more than 10°, as it may be damaged
- 11 - 23 Nm, replace
- 12 - 23 Nm, replace. Apply heat-resistant paste to the threads of the turbocharger mounting pins
- 13 - Catalytic converter with downpipe
- 14 - 25 Nm
- 15 - Bracket
- 16 - Lambda probe "G39", 50 Nm. Lubricate only the thread with grease "G 052112 AZ"; "G 052112 AZ" grease should not get on the housing splines. Remove and install using a set of open-end wrenches for lambda probes "3337"
- 17 - 10 Nm
- 18 - 20 Nm, replace. Apply heat-resistant paste to the threads of the exhaust manifold mounting pins
- 19 - Turbocharger. Turbocharger and exhaust manifold must be replaced together
- 20 - Probe bracket
