Instructions: The ignition coil housings with output stages have been modified. Therefore, these ignition coils can only be removed and installed with the help of the puller -T10094A-. The previous puller "T10094" can also be used further if it is modified as described below.
Remove the marked area "2" with the appropriate tool to obtain a new nominal dimension "B" of 13 mm. Mark the tool designation additionally with the letter A "1".
Removal
Lift the engine casing at points "1" and remove the casing by moving it forward in the direction of the arrow. Unscrew the mounting bolts "1" of the connecting nipple for the engine crankcase ventilation and the check valve. Remove the connector "2" from the turbocharger bypass valve N₂49- and the hose branch "3",
Install the puller -T10094 A- on the ignition coil with the "arrow" output stage.

Pull out the ignition coil with the output stage a little. Place the "T10118" assembly tool as shown in the figure. Carefully loosen the connector lock and disconnect the connector.
Installation
Install the puller -T10094 A- on the ignition coil with the output stage. Put the connector on the ignition coil with the output stage until it clicks into place. Press the ignition coil with the output stage in the direction of the "arrow" into the cylinder head.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tightening torques of the bolts for fastening the connecting nipple of the engine crankcase ventilation and the check valve: 10 Nm.
