Solar Powered Fan Drive (VW Passat B6)

On vehicles with solar panels on the sliding sunroof panel, when there is sufficient sunlight, the fan automatically switches to solar power when the ignition is turned off and continues to supply fresh air to the vehicle interior.

The control of the sunroof panel drive is no different from the above. The solar panels supply current to the air conditioning fan.

The interior trim is firmly bonded to the panel and cannot be separated.

Note: The interior ventilation only operates when the sunroof panel is closed.
