The alarm system, which also monitors the entire interior of the car, is automatically activated when the car is locked. To do this, turn the key once in the locking direction or press the locking button on the radio key. The system is then immediately activated. This is accompanied by a brief flashing of all direction indicators.
When the key is turned twice in the locking direction or the radio key lock button is pressed twice, the alarm system and the security surveillance of the interior of the vehicle are switched off.
The system is triggered if the following is opened without authorization on a locked vehicle:
- or one of the doors;
- hood or trunk lid;
- and also if the ignition is turned on or if any movement is detected in the vehicle's interior security surveillance system.
At the same time, the sound signal and all direction indicators are switched on for approximately 30 seconds.
Note: You can turn off the alarm mode at any time by unlocking the vehicle.
Note: If after the alarm signal has stopped, another opening of the protected areas occurs (for example, after opening one of the side doors, the trunk lid will be opened), the alarm mode will be turned on again.
Note: The alarm mode can also be deactivated by unlocking the trunk lid mechanically with the key.
Security surveillance of the interior of the car
Fig. 1.18. Security surveillance sensors
Sensors (volume sensors) the interior space of the car is monitored on both sides of the rear light (Fig. 1.18). In order not to impair the sensitivity of the sensors, it is necessary to ensure that they are not covered by anything.
Disabling monitoring of the interior of the car
When the security alarm system is turned on, monitoring of the interior of the vehicle is simultaneously activated.
If any movement is detected in the cabin, the alarm system goes into alarm mode.

The interior surveillance of the vehicle must be disabled when pets are left in the locked vehicle for a short period of time; otherwise, even individual animal movements will trigger an alarm signal.
