1. Disconnect the four-pin electrical connector from the coolant temperature sensor, which is located on the thermostat housing.
2. Short-circuit contacts 1 and 3 of the sensor with a 15 Ohm resistance.
3. Remove the fuel line together with the fuel injectors without disconnecting the fuel hoses from it.
4. Insert the fuel injectors into measuring vessels, such as VAG1602.
5. Ask an assistant to turn on the starter for a few seconds. · When the starter is running, the fuel injectors should spray fuel. Check the fuel spray torch, which should be cone-shaped and the same for all injectors.
6. Turn off the ignition and check the fuel injectors for leaks. No more than two drops of fuel should flow out of the fuel injectors within 1 minute.
7. Install the fuel line with fuel injectors to the engine. Before installation, check the condition and lubricate the fuel injector sealing rings.
8. Connect the electrical connector to the coolant temperature sensor.
Engines 1.8-I and 1.6-I ADP
1. Connect the multi-pin electrical connector to the ignition coil control unit.
2. Install the upper engine cover.
