Press the clutch release fork lever all the way in the direction opposite to the clutch release stroke. The lever stroke should be about 10 mm.
Note. On vehicles manufactured since August 1992, a unified clutch pedal suspension bracket (Fig. 4-6) is installed, the same for mechanical and hydraulic clutch drives, which required a corresponding change in the design of the clutch pedal, servo spring and pedal mounting stop. The parts of the modified design are not interchangeable with the parts of the bracket of the previous design. Only pedal suspension brackets with a guide tube for the mechanical clutch drive cable, which must be cut off when installing the pedal suspension bracket on vehicles with a hydraulic clutch drive, are supplied as spare parts.
