Using the lever, press the clutch release fork lever all the way in the direction opposite to the clutch release stroke, resting the lever against the gearbox housing. This will compress the automatic clearance selection mechanism in the clutch drive. Secure the clearance selection mechanism with a wire clamp. Release the clutch release fork lever and disconnect the drive cable from the lever and clutch pedal, and remove the cable.

When installing the cable, leave the gap selection mechanism fixed with a clamp.

Attach the cable to the clutch pedal. Insert the rubber stop of the cable sheath into the support on the gearbox housing. Attach the cable to the clutch release fork lever. Remove the retaining clamp from the clearance selection mechanism.

Installing a reusable rope

Before installing the cable, compress the clearance selection mechanism, if possible. Attach the cable to the clutch pedal and to the clutch release fork lever on the gearbox housing. Insert the rubber stop of the cable sheath into the support on the gearbox housing. Remove the clamp securing the clearance selection mechanism.
