Unscrew the injectors. Clamp the injector body in a vice and unscrew the injector. Clamp the injector to prevent parts from falling out and disassemble it. Applying installation marks to the parts to install them in the same position during assembly.
Make sure that the injector parts are free of the following defects:
- deformation or roughness of the injector valve seat surface;
- carbon deposits on the spray nozzle or damage to it;
- scratches and nicks on the valve needle;
- cavities on the valve seat surface;
- ovality of the spray nozzle;
- traces of overheating of the injector body;
- wear of the nozzle bottom.
If the above defects are detected, replace the injector. Wash the injector parts in kerosene and clean them with a stiff brush. Assemble the injector and tighten it into the injector body with a torque of 7 kgf·m.
