Instruction: The puller tool -T10133/2- has been changed and is now called puller T1013/2A-. If you do not have such a tool, you can independently change the previous tool.
Converting puller tool -T10133/2- into puller tool -T10133/2A-.
Create a semicircle with a file, as shown in the figure. Due to this semicircle, the tool can be inserted further into the nozzle and thus it receives more contact surface. Mark the converted tool with a letter "A" at the end of the tool number.
Nozzle details
- 1 - Replace the lip seal of the combustion chamber (Teflon lip seal), when installing, do not treat the ring with any lubricants.
- 2 - Intermediate ring
- 3 - Nozzle
- 4 - Support ring
- 5 - O-ring (replace, lightly lubricate with clean engine oil when installing)
- 6 - Support element (through this support element, the fuel rail transmits the force that holds the injector in the cylinder head)
Removing
Remove intake manifold with fuel rail.
Instructions: If the injectors remain inserted in the fuel rail tube, remove them from it. Plug inlet passages with clean rags. Remove support -A- and unplug connectors arrows- from injectors.
Insert puller -T10133/2A- into groove on injector. Attach dismantling tool -T10133/16- and remove injector by turning screw -1-.
Instructions: Pay attention to the intermediate rings. Before reassembling the injector, it is common to replace the combustion chamber O-ring.
Installation
Instructions: The Teflon O-ring of the injector must not be lubricated. It is possible that an open inlet valve will interfere with cleaning. In this case, you need to turn the engine crankshaft manually with a wrench.
Clean injector bores in cylinder head thoroughly with nylon brush -T10133/4-. Replace the o-ring and Teflon lip seal of the injector.
Fit injector again with intermediate ring -2-. Use puller -T10133/2A- -2- to insert the injector into the hole in the cylinder head as far as it will go.
Check the correct position of the injector in the cylinder head. Install the intake manifold with fuel rail.
