Applied in KSUD «Mono-Motronic» the fuel injection control subsystem is a modified central fuel injection system «Mono-Jetronic» Bosch company. Some changes affected the design of the central injection unit (pic. 2-74), in particular, the throttle damper has been eliminated. In addition, the nozzle does not have a ballast resistor. and the fuel pressure regulator is integral with the central injection unit. The throttle valve opening is adjusted at the factory and cannot be changed during operation.

Non-aggregate systems «Mopo-Jetronic» fuel injection control subsystem instruments «Mono-Molronic» are described below.
Knecht brand air filter with a filter element change interval every 60,000 km. Bosch brand and type central injection unit 0 261 200 714. A throttle switch is built into the idle speed controller, which sends a signal to the KCM controller that the throttle valve is in the idle position. The fuel pump has a capacity of 30% more (at 12 V). The Bosch brand controller, catalog number 8АО 907 311 L., based on the information received from the sensors of the system, determines the optimal duration of the nozzle opening and the ignition timing, depending on the engine operating mode. It is installed in the right front of the car, under the instrument panel.
When the engine is taken care of, the controller turns on the adsorber purge solenoid valve for a certain time. In this case, the outside air enters the adsorber, is saturated with gasoline vapors and enters the throttle space of the fuel injection unit.
The oxygen content sensor in the exhaust gases is installed in the exhaust pipe of the mufflers and serves to issue a signal about the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gases to the controller. Sensor supply voltage 12 V.
The ignition timing control subsystem is controlled by the same controller as the fuel injection control subsystem, and provides software control of the ignition timing based on signals from sensors.
The main nodes of the ignition timing control subsystem are. controller, Tele-funken brand switch, speed sensor built into the ignition distributor (Hall Sensor), a vacuum sensor built into the controller, an ignition coil and spark plugs of the NGK BUR 6ET brand. The vacuum sensor provides control over the engine load and is the main one for regulating the ignition timing.
Ignition distributor brand Bosch with axial outputs, with built-in Hall sensor. It serves only to determine the number of engine revolutions, the moment of sparking and the distribution of high voltage current across the candles.
