The ignition system is controlled by the KSUD controller. The interruption of the current in the primary winding of the ignition coil is carried out by signals from the Hall sensor built into the ignition distributor, which serves only to distribute the current to the spark plugs.
The ignition distributor is driven by the exhaust camshaft.
Cylinder firing order: 1-3-4-2 (The 1st cylinder is located on the camshaft drive side). The initial ignition timing up to TDC is 3-9°. Rotor resistance 0.6-1.4 kOhm.
The ignition unit includes a final amplification stage and an ignition coil.
The resistance of the primary winding of the ignition coil, measured between the terminals «1» and «15», 0.5-1.2 ohm. The resistance of the secondary winding of the ignition coil, measured between the terminals «4» and «15», 3-4 kOhm.
The piezoelectric type knock sensor is mounted on the cylinder block. Engine «ABF»» has two knock sensors, also located on the cylinder block.
Brand and type of spark plugs: Bosch F5 DPO R or NGK VK 7 EKU. The gap between the electrodes of Bosch brand candles is 0.6-0.7 mm; brand NGK 0.8 mm.
