Removal and installation the power element of the folding ignition key with remote control (VW Tiguan 1)

• 1 - Key with transponder (floating code)
• 2 - Transmitter housing - upper part. Three-button version
• 3 - The LED should blink when you press the buttons on the remote control. If the LED does not blink when you press the buttons, the battery is discharged and must be replaced
• 4 - Power supply element
• 5 - Transmitter housing - lower part

Removal

Insert a screwdriver into the gap between the transmitter housing-1- and the mechanical part of the key "2". Turn the screwdriver "arrow" and disconnect the transmitter housing from the mechanical part of the key.



Separate the transmitter body "1" from the key bit "2".



Remove the battery "1" with a screwdriver arrows - from the latches "2".

Installation

Instructions: Before installing the battery, you must press any button once. This will reset the transmitter to a new state and allow it to recognize the new battery.

When installing the battery, observe its polarity. Insert battery "1" into the transmitter housing "2" with the positive side down (polarity is indicated on the power supply element). Lightly press the power element into the transmitter housing. Connect the cover and the transmitter housing (do not damage the seal). Snap the transmitter housing onto the mechanical part of the key.
