Fuel Shut-Off Solenoid Valve (10, see picture) on the high-pressure fuel pump opens the fuel supply when the ignition is turned on. It is subject to testing when the engine does not start or continues to run after the ignition is turned off.
Turn the ignition on and off. The fuel shut-off solenoid valve should click audibly.
If the valve does not click, check fuse #15 and the integrity of the black/white wire; replace defective parts if necessary.
If no fault is found, disconnect the electrical wire and unscrew the fuel shut-off valve.
Screw in the new fuel shut-off valve and tighten to 40 Nm. Connect the wire.

Start the engine. This will automatically remove air from the fuel system.
