Removal and installation wheel arch trim / door protective trim (VW Passat B3)

• 1 - lining of the outer contour of the front wheel arch

To remove, drill out the rivet heads and unfasten 1 clamp.

• 2 - lining of the outer contour of the rear wheel arch

To remove, drill out the rivet heads and unfasten 1 clamp.

• 3 - hollow rivet
• 4 - protective door trim

To remove, detach from the door at the top and pull down from the holders "6". When installing, first insert the protective trim from below into the holders "6", then secure at the top.

• 5 - clamp with insert

If the insert is damaged, replace it together with the clamp.

• 6 — holder

The holder is glued to the door. To remove, heat the holder with a hair dryer. Before installation, clean the area where the holder is glued from adhesive residue with a solvent, for example: VW-D 002000. Installation: insert the holder into the trim and remove the protective film. Center the door protective trim at the top along the holes for the clamps and press firmly at the bottom.
