Removal and installation wheel arch trim (VW Polo 4)

Note: removal and installation for the IBIZA model are performed in the same way as for the ROY.

Removal

Safety note: There is a risk of accident when lifting the vehicle! Please read the section "Lifting a car".

Mark the direction of rotation of the tires with an arrow on the sidewall of the tire. Raise the car on jacks and remove the wheels.

Attention: Strictly follow the instructions given in the chapter "Removal and installation a wheel".

Front wheel arch trim: unscrew 14 screws "2". 3 - self-locking nut.

Rear wheel arch trim: remove 11 screws.

Remove the wheel arch lining "1" from the wheel well.

Installation

Insert the wheel arch trim into the wheel well and screw it in place.

Ensure the previous direction of rotation of the tires, tighten the wheels with bolts, lower the car and only then tighten the wheel bolts in a crosswise manner with a torque of 120 Nm.
