Checking the tightness of the power steering system (VW Passat B2)

Turn the steering wheel from one extreme position to the other and hold it in the extreme position.

Without changing the position of the steering wheel, visually check the tightness of the valve body, the rack seal, and the seal installed on the flange side (to do this, loosen the fastening of the clamp of the protective cover and move the cover towards the center), power steering pump, as well as the connection points of the power steering system hoses.
