Replacing the seal and sealing gaskets of the valve body (VW Passat B2)

Remove the steering gear.

Remove the valve body.

Use a mandrel to press the seal out of the valve body.

Place the new oil seal with the sealing edge towards the intermediate cover and press the oil seal in until it stops.

Replacing the sealing rings is not particularly difficult.

Install the valve body and steering gear.
