Place the front wheels in the straight-ahead position.
Loosen the lock nut of the adjusting bolt on the rack stop cover.
Turn the adjusting bolt until it contacts the support washer.
Tighten the lock nut while holding the adjusting bolt with a wrench.
Check the operation of the steering system with a test drive and, if necessary, adjust the gap between the stop and the rack.
