Note: Do not reuse ATF oil that has been drained from the system. If you replace power steering system components or ATF oil, you must replace the system filter.
Fill the power steering pump reservoir with oil up to the MAX mark.
Raise the front of the vehicle and quickly turn the steering wheel all the way left and right several times to remove air from the power cylinder.
Add oil to the power steering pump reservoir up to the MAX mark.
Start the engine.
Add oil to the tank up to the MAX mark until the oil level stabilizes when turning the steering wheel and air bubbles stop coming out of the tank.
