Bleeding the steering system



Check the hydraulic oil level and top up if necessary.

Raise the vehicle so that the front wheels are free.

Start the engine and let it idle for about 5 minutes.

Turn off the engine and check the oil level.

Repeat this operation again.

Start the engine again and, with the engine idling, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock 3 times.

Turn off the engine and check the oil level, top up if necessary.

Repeat this operation 2 times.

To degas the oil, do not start the engine for 2-3 minutes.

Lower the car.

Again, with the engine idling, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock 5 times.

Bleeding the steering system is complete when there are no more air bubbles in the hydraulic fluid reservoir.
