1. Check the battery.
2. Check all fuses.
3. Disconnect all plugs and sockets of the relevant electronic system and reconnect. Make sure that the plugs and wires are firmly seated in the engine compartment.
4. Check the tightness of all wires «masses» (-), to also good contact on their terminals.
5. Check tightness of hoses and pipelines. Pay attention to the possible presence of porosity and cracks in the hoses. Tighten loose joints (see illustrations 2.0 and 2.0a).
Attention! Do not use silicone based sealants. Silicone residues that get into the engine do not burn out and damage the lambda probe.
2.0. Intake manifold. Vehicles with a 1.4 liter BCA petrol engine
1 - rod indicator of engine oil level
2 - bolt. Tightening torque 20 Nm
3 - fuel distribution line with fuel injectors
4 - throttle valve block
5 - bolt. Tightening torque 7 Nm
6 - stuffing box. Replace if damaged
7 - connecting hose of the exhaust gas recirculation system
8 - bolt. Tightening torque 7 Nm
9 - connecting pipeline of the exhaust gas recirculation system
10 - sealing ring. To be replaced after each disassembly
11 - intake manifold
12 - stuffing box. To be replaced after each disassembly
13 - O-ring. Replace if damaged
14 - pressure sensor in the intake manifold. Located in the same housing as the intake air temperature sensor
2.0a. Fuel distribution line and fuel injectors. Vehicles with a 1.4 liter BCA petrol engine
1 - supply hose. from the fuel filter. Check the tightness of the fit with clamping collars
2 - bolt. Tightening torque 7 Nm
3 - clamps. Read the difference
4 - fixing the wire harness guide on the fuel distribution line
5 - fuel distribution line
6 - ventilation valve
7 - protective cover of the ventilation valve
8 - clamp. Pay attention to the correct fit on the nozzle
9 - O-ring. To be replaced after each disassembly. Lubricate the ring with a small amount of clean engine oil before installing.
10 - fuel injector
