Removal
1. Remove the fuel pump and fuel gauge sensor. The pump and sensor form one unit.
2. Press the clamps 3 and 4 and disconnect the wires (see illustration).
3. Use a screwdriver to lift up the leashes 1 and 2 and disconnect the fuel gauge sensor by pushing it down (see arrow in illustration 3.2).
Installation
4. Install the sensor into the guides on the fuel pump and press it in until it locks into place, pushing it upwards.
5. Connect and secure the wires.
6. Reinstall the fuel pump and sensor.
