Removal
1. Remove the spark plug caps.
2. Unscrew the glow plugs using a socket head with a ratchet HAZET 2530 or VW/AUDI-3220.
Installation
3. Screw in the spark plugs and tighten them to 15 Nm.
4. Place the tips on the candles.
Examination
Test conditions: battery voltage is at least 11.5 V.
5. Turn off the ignition.
6. Remove the glow plug caps.
7. Connect the LED test lamp to the positive terminal of the battery, and then connect it to the spark plugs one by one. If the LED lamp lights up, the spark plug is OK. Otherwise, replace the spark plug (see illustration).
8. Put the tips on the spark plugs and remove all faults registered by the diagnostic system in the operation of the diesel engine fuel system (the work is carried out in the workshop).
