Attention! The filling volume of oil for the Haldex differential is 0.85 liters.
- o-rings for drain and vent plugs of Haldex differential.
Necessary tools and equipment: a suitable container for collecting oil.
Oil change
Warning! Jacking up a vehicle and placing it on jack stands is associated with danger. Therefore, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the safety measures set out in Chapter "Jacking up a car".
1. Jack up the car and place it on jack stands.
2. Place a prepared container under the differential to collect the oil.
3. Unscrew the screw plug from the drain hole A and let the oil drain (see illustration).
4. Screw the plug into the drain hole, having first replaced the old sealing ring with a new one, and tighten the plug with a force of 30 Nm.
5. Unscrew the plug from the filler hole B (see illustration 19.3).
6. Cut the tube (tip) oil filling containers (oil cans) up to 50 mm (see illustration).
7. Insert the tip of the oiler A into the drain hole and fill the differential with oil until it reaches the bottom edge of the filler hole (see illustration).

The oil level in the differential is normal if, at an oil temperature of +20°...40°C, it is near the lower edge of the filler hole.
8. Screw the plug into the filler hole, replacing the old sealing ring with a new one, and tighten the threaded plug with a force of 15 Nm.
9. Lower the car onto its wheels.
