Place the front of the car on jack stands.
Disconnect both cable ties intended for securing the wires from the generator and from the ignition-starter switch.
Pull out both plugs (black and white) and disconnect the cable from the "B+" terminal of the generator, and also disconnect the cable from the positive terminal of the storage battery. This connection point is shown in the figure on the right side.
Remove the mounting nuts and screws.
Remove the starter.
The starter is installed in the reverse order of dismantling. Pay attention to the correct connection of the cable.
