2. If the starter motor runs, but very slowly, this is most likely caused by a discharged battery, or loose or corroded battery or starter motor contacts.
3. If the starter motor does not turn the engine, although the battery is well charged, you can suspect stuck or worn starter motor brushes, or a dirty or scratched commutator.
