1. The battery is still located behind the passenger seat, but its housing and cover have been modified (see photo).

2. The battery cell caps can be removed by inserting a screwdriver into the side slot on the cap, piercing the plastic shell and turning the cap counterclockwise until it stops. The plugs are screwed into place in the usual way.
