15. Brush holders can be of two different types (see Figures 13.60 and 13.61).

16. For type "A" brush holders, the brush wires must be soldered as described in chapter 10. Type "B" brush holders do not require soldering of brush wires and can be replaced without removing the generator from the vehicle.
