When checking the stator for short circuits, apply one ohmmeter test probe to collector ring 1 and the second probe to three wires in turn - 2, 3 and 4.
To check the stator current flow, connect the three stator cables in pairs one by one. If the indicator reading does not match the specified value, the electrical circuit is broken. The resistance should be 0 Ohm.
Measure the length of the protruding part of the brushes. The minimum size should be 5 mm.
