A strobe light is required for testing.
Check the temperature sensor.
Connect the stroboscope according to its operating instructions and the tachometer.
Leave the engine to idle.
Disconnect the temperature sensor connector.
Increase the engine speed to 2300 rpm. The ignition timing should correspond to the data in Table 11. "Ignition advance angle (moment)". Connect the temperature sensor connector.
Check the ignition timing again at 2300 rpm. Its value should differ from the previous one by 3.0°±3.0°; if the ignition timing differs only within 2.0°±3.0°, then the knock sensor is faulty.
Turn off the engine.
Check the tightening torque of the knock sensor (same as VEZ system), tighten if necessary.
Check the contacts where the wires are connected. Start the engine and repeat the ignition timing test again.
