Extraction
1. There is no need to remove the generator to replace the brushes.
2. Disconnect the generator ground wire.
3. Unscrew the two bolts 1 from the rear cover of the generator, securing the voltage regulator, and then remove it (photo 4.3 and 4.5).
4. The length of the new brush is 13 mm, while the minimum permissible length of the old brush is 5 mm.
5. If necessary, unsolder the braided wire 4 and replace the brushes (figure 4.5).

Insert springs 3 and new brushes 5 into the guides of brushes 2. Solder the ends of wires 4.
6. After installing new brushes, you need to check whether they move easily in the guides.
7. Insert and screw the voltage regulator to the back cover.
8. Connect the ground wire to the battery.
