Instruction. At negative temperatures, a radiator heater is used. As a result, the air flow through the radiator is significantly reduced. However, there is a risk associated with this: when driving on a motorway with a full load, the amount of cooling air may be too low, as a result of which the engine will overheat. Therefore, when driving on long routes, it is necessary to remove the insulation as soon as the temperature rises above 0 degrees Celsius (make a note on the panel to remember this).
The illustration shows the radiator mount for a production model after January 1981: 1 - fixing corner; 2 - rubber ring. The previous version of the design consists of: 3 - brackets with a rubber bushing and a clamping washer; 4 - rubber-metal support, the expansion tank is shown on the right in the figure (5)
