Removing the atomizer
Sometimes it is not possible to clean the clogged hole with a thin wire. Then the atomizer needs to be replaced. For prevention, it is recommended to install a standard fuel filter in the system.
Front: Open the engine hood.
Remove the hose from the sprayer.
On the bottom of the atomizer, slide the clip to the side and pull it out.
Rear: Pull the atomizer out of the rear cover.
Remove hose.
Atomizer adjustment
Insert a thin needle into the opening of the atomizer and turn in the desired direction.
The figure shows how the water jet of the front water holes should be directed.
The figure on the left shows the installation of the washer nozzle: a = 220 mm, b - 310 mm; c = 280 mm; d = 280 mm
The dispenser is visible on the right. By pressing on its side clamp (see arrow) the atomizer can be removed
The rear nozzle must be positioned so that the water jet hits the center of the area to be cleaned on the glass.
Headlight cleaning unit
When the lights are on, when the wiper lever is pressed, the second pump from the wash water tank receives its operating current through an intermediate relay. The pump delivers water to both nozzles located in the front, on the bumper. There is a check valve in the pipeline
Troubleshooting
Follow the instructions given for a conventional windshield washer.
First of all, you need to check whether the information is coming "lighting on" from the corresponding current circuit. On models before July 1982, this is the light switch terminal 56 and on models after August 1982, this is the rear license plate light circuit (fuse 20).
