Remove the plug from the top of the left fender.
If necessary, remove the wheel arch insert (see chapter "Body").
Insert the antenna from below into the hole in the wing.
Please note: the grip at the antenna leg must make good contact with "weight". You may have to scrape the metal a little to shine. Contact is essential for good reception quality "with mass".
Protect uninsulated, shiny places against corrosion with grease or sealing silicone paste.
Screw on the union nut of the antenna.
Remove dashboard (see chapter "Devices").
Remove the rubber plug located between the wheel arch and the interior of the car. If this hole is not available, a special hole for the antenna cable must be drilled in this place in the sheet.
Protect exposed metal edges from corrosion.
Insert a suitable rubber grommet into the hole to protect it from moisture.
Push the antenna cable through the rubber grommet towards the interior of the car.
Behind the instrument panel, if possible, lay the antenna cable in a layer of foam rubber and strengthen it so as to reduce vibration. Make sure that there is sufficient distance to the heating and ventilation ducts.
Attach the antenna leg additionally to the front fender using a fixing bracket. Tighten the antenna union nut.
