Remove the wire from the switch on the fuel pump and insulate it.
Flush the intake pipes with gasoline and remove them.
Unscrew all nozzles, remove thermal insulation.
(15-443) screw in the compression pressure tester instead of the injectors.
Attention! Lay the old thermal insulation between the tester and the cylinder head.
To test the compression pressure, the engine must be at operating temperature.
Run the engine at idle until the pressure stops rising. Record pressure reference value, check all cylinders one by one.
Attention! The compression pressures given are only valid for testing with VW testers 1323 and 1381.
(23-041) screw in the nozzles.
Attention! Constantly replace the thermal insulation between the cylinder head and the injectors. The indentation should look up towards the head.
Screw in the intake pipes, bring the wire to the switch.
