With perfectly machined valve seat rings and new valves, grinding is not necessary. Valve seats with signs of wear and burning can be adjusted if the correction angle and seat width are within the norm. Otherwise, the cylinder head must be replaced. Valve seat rings can be renewed using conventional tools in a workshop.

Valves and valve seats can be fitted as long as the dimension d = 1.5 mm is not exceeded.

Attention! Exhaust valves cannot be adjusted on lathes! They can only be ground. Inlet valves can be adjusted on lathes.

(15-029) The valves are ground with grinding paste. It is possible to avoid the formation of grooves on the surface of the seat during grinding by constantly lifting and turning the valve.

Attention! The grinding paste must be carefully removed after finishing the work.
