Cylinder head — design description (VW Transporter T3)

Starting with engine CS 000339, the cylinder head is secured with M12 cylindrical head bolts with internal teeth. Previously, M11 cylindrical head bolts with four internal edges were used. The cylinder-head assembly, cylinder block gaskets, cylinder head bolts and washers of the previous and new designs are not interchangeable.

(1) Cylinder head cover gasket. Replace.
(2) Socket head bolt.
(3) nozzle.
(4) cylinder head.
(5) Cylinder head gasket. Observe markings.
(6) candle.
