Additional vibration damper (VW Transporter T3)

The turbodiesel has an additional vibration damper (1), which is mounted behind the belt pulley (2) on the crankshaft.

(4) Hexagonal bolt M14x1.5 - 180 Nm. Install the oiled bolt without locking elements.

Models from 3.88: twelve-sided bolt M14x1.5 - 90 Nm + 1/2 turn. The bolt must be replaced regularly.

In turbodiesels with air conditioning and a second generator, a hexagonal bolt is used instead of a twelve-sided bolt. The bolt must be replaced regularly; tightening torque 90 Nm + 1/2 turn.
