Checking the valve guides (VW Transporter T3)

When repairing an engine with leaky valves, it is not enough to just treat or replace the valves and valve seats. It is also necessary to check the wear of the guides. This check is especially important for engines with a long service life. If the wear is too great, then you need to either renew the guides in a workshop or replace the cylinder head.
