Excessive oil consumption may be caused by worn valve stem seals. The seals can be removed with the cylinder head installed, but a special tool is required.
Dismantling
Remove the camshaft and cup tappets, see. "Dismantling and installation of the camshaft".
Set the piston of each cylinder to the top dead center. To do this, turn the cardan shaft, rotating the belt pulley with a socket wrench, until the cam pair of the cylinder being repaired points upward.

(25-449) pull out the springs using a special tool, the valves will be lying on the bottom.
Remove the seal using the special tool, see. "Dismantling and installation of valves".
Installation
Each time the seal must be installed using a plastic sleeve A. The sleeves are supplied with the seals.

(15-072) Place sleeve A on the rod. Lubricate seal B, insert into the special tool and carefully insert into the guide.
