The prerequisite for the perfect operation of the blower and the achievement of the set boost pressure is:
- no leaks in intake and exhaust.
- the discharge pipe leading to the control valve is not clogged, well fixed, leak-tight.
- the start of delivery, valve clearance, compression pressure and maximum speed are correctly set, and the nozzles are in good order. The boost pressure test can only be carried out in a workshop.
Dismantling
Remove engine cover.
(21-139) unscrew both fixing bolts on the left between the mufflers with the support.
Attention! Loosening these bolts is important to facilitate removal and installation of the supercharger.
(21-140) remove the air hose between the suction pipe (1) and air filter.
Unscrew the oil supply line (3) and outlet pipeline (4).
Loosen the fixing screws (5) exhaust pipe and support (6).
Unscrew the four fixing screws (7) between the blower and exhaust outlet.
Remove gas turbine supercharger.
Installation
In order to easily install the supercharger, you must follow the following installation sequence:
Insert blower and tighten four mounting bolts between blower and exhaust outlet.
Screw the exhaust pipe to the supercharger with four bolts.
Tighten both support bolts.
Attention! If the support is not aligned with the exhaust pipe, remove it from the cylinder head and center it.
Install the muffler and screw it with two bolts to the support.
Lubricate the turbocharger connection fittings with engine oil before screwing on the oil supply line.
After installing the turbocharger, do not immediately turn on high speeds, but let the engine idle for 1 minute to ensure a reliable supply of oil to the supercharger.
