CAUTION: The fuel pressure line is under pressure! To avoid injury and fuel getting on your feet, wear protective glasses and gloves. Before disconnecting the fuel system components, wrap the connection point with a rag. Then release the pressure by carefully loosening the connection. For safety reasons, disconnect the power supply to the fuel pump before opening the fuel system. Otherwise, the fuel pump may be activated when the driver's door is opened. Use one of the following options to disconnect the power supply. Disconnect the battery or remove the fuse for the fuel pump control unit "J538" or disconnect the connector on the flange of the fuel delivery module or from the fuel pump control unit "J538".

CAUTION: When performing installation work, especially in the engine compartment due to its dense layout, the following rules must be observed. Pipelines of all types (fuel, hydraulic, absorber, coolant, refrigerant, brake fluid, vacuum) and electrical wires must be laid as they were originally laid. To avoid damage to hoses, tubes or wires, it is necessary to provide sufficient space when working with all moving or heated components.

CAUTION: To avoid personal injury and/or damage to the injection and ignition system, the following rules must be observed: Do not touch or disconnect the ignition coils with output stages when the engine is running and at starting speed. Disconnecting and connecting the wires of the injection and ignition system, as well as the wires of the measuring instruments, may only be carried out with the ignition off.
