Disconnect connector "1" from fuel pressure regulating valve "N₂76" using assembly tool "T10118". Let the engine idle for about 10 seconds. When the connector is disconnected from the fuel pressure regulating valve "N₂76" with the engine idling, the pressure in the high-pressure area is reduced to about 6 bar. After the high pressure has been reduced, the high-pressure system must be opened, since the fuel pressure will increase again due to heating. Set the starter and instrument switch to the "off" position

Wrap a clean cloth around the connection point and carefully loosen the connection to release the pressure to approximately 6 bar. After completing the work, query the engine control unit fault memory and delete all errors recorded as a result of disconnecting the connector.

Instructions: After clearing the fault memory, a readiness code must be created.
