2. Due to this, afterburning of exhaust gases occurs, which significantly reduces the content of CO-HC in the exhaust gases.
3. The condition of the check valves and hoses in the system should be checked regularly. If the valves turn blue or the hoses are visibly hardened or deformed, this may be caused by a faulty check valve. Replace all defective or damaged parts.
4. Routine maintenance of the system consists of periodically cleaning the hoses and checking the reliability of their connections.
5. Whenever removing the cylinder head, it is necessary to remove carbon deposits and combustion products from the channels that open after removing the intake manifold.
