Verification procedure
Remove the noise insulation screen.
Clamp the feed and return hoses from the oil radiator with hose clamps up to ∅ 25 mm.

Loosen the clamps using spring clamp pliers (fig. 2.332).
Note: Collect any leaking coolant in a pan.
Disconnect the water hoses from the oil cooler.
Place the plug 5 on the rear connecting pipe 4 of the oil radiator.

Fix plug 2 on the air bleed nipple from expansion tank 1.
Secure water hose 3 to the oil radiator and expansion tank.
Fill the expansion tank to the "Max" mark.

Install the cooling system tester with the cooling system adapter on the expansion tank (fig. 2.333).
Using the tester's hand pump, create an excess pressure of approximately 1.6 bar.
Monitor the pressure drop on the pressure gauge. A pressure drop within 10 minutes is unacceptable.
If the pressure drops, replace the oil cooler.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, taking into account the following.
Check the coolant level and top up if necessary.
