Removal
Remove the sound insulation.
Remove the intake air guide from the air filter.
Place the radiator frame in the service position.

Disconnect plug connection 1 and unscrew the fan bracket mounting bolts (fig. 2.199).
Remove the fan bracket with the fans upwards.

Disconnect plug connection 2 and put the cables aside.
Unlock plug 1 from the fan bracket and set the cables aside.
Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the fans.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, taking into account the following.
Tightening torques
Cooling system fan to fan bracket: 10 Nm.
Fan bracket to radiator: 5 Nm.
