Removal
Disconnect the plug from the coolant temperature sensor at the radiator outlet.
Note: Gaskets and O-rings must be replaced.
Note: Drain the coolant.
Note: Remove the three-phase generator
Remove the coolant hose from the fitting.
Loosen the fastening bolts 4 of the fitting 3 using the articulated wrench 10, unscrew using the attachment 5 and remove the fitting 3 with the thermostat 1.
Turn thermostat 1 1/4 turns (90°) to the left and remove from connecting nipple 3.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, taking into account the following.
Moisten the new O-ring 2 with coolant.

Install thermostat 1 into connection nipple 3 and rotate 1/4 turn (90°) to the right (fig. 2.335).
Note: The thermostat brackets should be positioned almost vertically.

Note: Install the connecting nipple 3 with thermostat 1 into the cylinder block.
Tighten the mounting bolts 4 using the articulated spanner 10. Tightening torque 15 Nm.
Fill with coolant.
