Apply a constant voltage of no more than 6 V to the idle speed controller by connecting the positive terminal of the power source to terminal "1" of the controller block, and the "ground" terminal of the source to terminal "2". In this case, the rod of the throttle valve switch of the controller should be fully retracted.
Immediately after this, turn off the power supply.
Warning: To avoid damaging the idle speed controller, do not connect a current source with a voltage greater than 6 V to it.
Connect the tester (in ohmmeter mode) to terminals "3" and "4" of the idle speed control block.
Insert the probe "B" with a thickness of 0.5±0.1 mm into the gap between the throttle control lever and the idle speed switch rod of the regulator. In this case, if the gap is within the specified limits, the resistance value should not change. If the gap does not match, this device will show the resistance of an open circuit. In this case, adjust the gap with screw "B".
