58. The engine must be at normal operating temperature.

59. Start the engine and let it idle.

60. Press the control lever against the stop, moving it towards the vacuum block.

61. Check the engine speed, which should be 1400±50 rpm.

62. Adjust the speed using the screw located on the end of the vacuum block.

63. Increase engine speed to approximately 3000 rpm until the throttle damper lever engages.

64. Lower the throttle valve. After 3-5 seconds, the control lever should return to the idle position.
