9. By turning the adjusting screws in, you increase the adjustable value; by turning them out, you decrease it.

10. During the regulation the following conditions must be met:

- The engine must be at normal operating temperature;
- The throttle lever should touch the stop screw (the air damper is fully open) all electrical consumers (headlights, heater, etc.) must be disabled;
- The crankcase ventilation hose must be disconnected from the air intake hose and its connection point must be blocked;
- The ignition must be adjusted correctly;
- The vacuum hose must be disconnected.
11. Upon completion, connect all hoses and disconnect the devices used.
Note: After connecting all hoses, engine speed will increase by approximately 150 rpm. If the CO content also increases, this does not mean the adjustment was performed incorrectly. After a long drive at high speed, the fuel vapor content in the crankcase oil will decrease and the CO content in the exhaust gases will return to normal.
